My feel was near exact to the other reviewer-ripped up box, misaligned and slightly twisted wood, minor damage. Additionally, the 'stain' was wet and tacky when it arrived. I cannot 'vouch' that the wood is cypress. The Unit requires a large space to contain it and winter warehouse may be an issue. The worst issue I have with it is the hammock sits low to the ground and with my 'achy' back getting in and out of it is a 'pain'. Not recommended for older persons or 'the overweight'. Beware the hassle of sending this back, It isn't worth ordering it unless you are clear you assuredly want it. Don't be fooled by the 'discount' price. I would have sent it back, but didn't want to pay additional $75 for shipping and anyone it would have cost in time and material to find & get a new box. It will be the 'yard sale for this 'Jewell'.
